PBS is a compassionate, evidence-based approach that understands behaviour as communication. It focuses on improving quality of life by adapting environments, building skills, and using proactive strategies that reduce distress.

We work with children, young people, and adults, alongside families, schools, residential services, and supported living providers across Lancashire, the North West, and the UK remotely.

An FBA explores the context, triggers, and functions of behaviour through observation, interviews, and data. Findings inform practical strategies that prevent distress and promote meaningful engagement.

Timelines vary by context and availability. We agree a clear plan at the outset; typical assessment and planning packages complete within 4–6 weeks, with updates shared along the way.

Yes. We deliver interactive workshops on introduction to PBS, trauma-informed practice, proactive and reactive strategies, behaviours of distress, and developmental disorders. Bespoke training packages can be discussed. Courses are tailored to your service and limited to 15 participants.

We use simple, meaningful data that matter to the person, such as participation, engagement, reductions in distress, and health or safety indicators—alongside feedback from families and staff.

We are based in Rossendale and travel across Lancashire and the North West. We also offer UK-wide remote support and on-site consultancy by arrangement.
